Jag är mycket för lite mer vassa och råa detaljer i min egen inredning, helt kritvitt är ingenting för mig. Jag gillar när det finns en balans mellan hårt och mjukt, därför tycker jag att det är väldigt roligt att jobba med till exempel en mer rå textur på vissa väggar och blanda upp med mjuk inredning. Jag har nyligen stött på en färg vid namn Kalklitir som ger den målade ytan ett betongliknande utseende. Denna färg ger inte bara en snygg yta utan den är även en isländsk naturprodukt gjord av vatten, kalk och pigment och därför möjligen den mest miljövänliga färgen som finns. Färgen kommer som ett pulver som sedan blandas med vatten och slutligen appliceras på vägg med en bred pensel, beroende på vilket reultat man vill åt finns det lite olika tekniker.

When it comes to my own interior choices I like a little more edgy and rustic details, all white is nothing for me. I like when there's a balance between rough and soft, that's why I enjoy working with eg. a more rough texture on some walls and then mix it up with soft furnishings. I recently found a color called Kalklitir that gives the painted surface a concrete looking appearance. This color doesn't just give a nice looking surface, it's also a natural product from Iceland made of water, lime and pigment and therefore it's possibly the most environmentally friendly paint available. The color comes as a powder which you mix with water and then apply to the wall with a wide brush, depending on what kind of result you'd like there are a few different techniques.
